I know I can get a little carried away when I am playing and I think the most I have ever plunked down for video poker is $500. I won about 1/3 of it back so I was pretty bummed about that.

I have a set limit that I play on the video poker machines. I go in knowing that I will only play til I reach my $100 limit. Sometimes I have winnings and sometimes I’m just out the $100.

I have done a 20 dollar pull once in Vegas.  I will be the first to tell you that I usually do not spend near this much on a machine, but I was in Vegas, you got to go big or go home if you are with me!

With me, if I don’t win anything after I reach $50, it’s time for me to play a different game. I can’t stand watching my money disappear before my eye’s like that.

I have a 50 dollar cut off. Unless I win a few times before then, I either try another machine or move on to a different game.

I have $100 limit and try till I reach the limit. But I love playing video poker. Its actually better than playing poker on table as you can concentrate more while you are playing video poker.

As the input amount in video poker is pretty low you would not know the quantum of your losses immediately. Hence its pretty easy to get carried away after couple of wins. Beware of this and bet sensibly.

There was a time when I really get carried away in a video poker and my cash were stripped off in just an hour. What a bad luck!
