I have to share this story with you all. I was at the casino with some friends a while back and we were at the video poker machines just playing away. My friend had sat her phone down next to her machine for a second and when she turned around to pick it up, it was gone. We couldn’t believe that someone would steal her phone and we couldn’t believe we didn’t notice it happening. Be careful when you are at these machines and don’t put your stuff down, not even for a second.

I never take anything of value into the casino with me for that reason. I’ve had tokens stolen from me and chips stolen from the table games. All it takes is a moment of distraction and the crooks are right there without you even suspecting a thing.

When my friends and I go to the casino we make it a point to keep an eye on each others things. It’s a shame that you can’t gamble in peace but you get all these people who are desperate and stoop to stealing to pay for their habit.

Wow, I can’t believe that happened.  I mean with all the security measures a casino takes to make sure that they have a controlled environment, you would think that they would have some video footage or something to help you find the phone.

Aww, that really sucks! Seriously, who would steal a phone? If it was a newer phone, and it probably was, I think you can find it by going to your cell provider. Don’t cells have some sort of GPS in them now or something? Maybe it’s just me but I thought that’s what the dude at the verizon desk said about my new cell.

Yeah, that does stink that you cannot gamble without being on your toes for all the wrong reasons. Maybe you should have a purse and keep it on your lap at all times and keep everything in there.

Maybe that was a cheap casino. Generally most of the casinos have CCTV installed especially in the Video Poker and Slots area. If ever it happens to you, speak to the security immediately and they can find the thief in minutes by rewinding the tape.

If you are in a casino, be aware of your belongings. Many gags take the opportunity to steal in the casinos because they know that rich persons are there. Keep an eye to your stuffs and be alert with the suspicious people roaming around you.
